I guess it wasn't enough for our moronic Dufus-in-Chief to grovel before the king of Saudi Arabia, for all the world to see, now this scumbag has petitioned the United States Supreme Court to PROTECT Saudi Arabia and four of the Saudi princes from being held accountable for their alleged participation in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, along with the hijacking and ultimate crash of the jet liner in Shankesville, Pennsylvania, all of which resulted in the deaths of almost 3,000 Americans.

Going through his administrations solicitor general, Elena Kagan, Obama has asked that the Saudis be granted immunity under the Foreign Sovereignty Immunities Act (FSIA) despite the fact that there is overwhelming U.S. evidence of the complicity of the Saudi government and the named four princes in support of al-Qaeda's attacks.

Even though the FSIA generally protects a sovereign state, there are exceptions under which its provisions can be revoked. This decision is usually left to the courts to determine.

This has outraged the families of the 9/11 victims. They see Obama's action in filing the petition for the protection of the Saudis as undermining the continuing fight against terrorism.

In the friend-of-the-court brief filed with the U.S. Supreme Court, the Obama administration has asked the court to deny a petition for a "writ of certiorari," or a higher court hearing by the families of the 9/11 victims in their effort to sue Saudi Arabia and the princes, which in their original case filed back in 2006, the families of the 9/11 victims charged that Saudi Arabia and the four Saudi princes, acting in their capacity as high-level government officials and as individuals made charitable donations to organizations with the full knowledge that these organizations were diverting funds to al-Qaeda. In their response to the charge, Saudi Arabia invoked the FSIA as a basis to preclude such a law suit by the victims' families.

With this petition, in effect Obama has announced his opposition to allowing 9/11 victims and their families full access to the U.S. legal system in his disgusting effort to protect Saudi Arabia and its princes from being held accountable for their role in the attacks on the United States.

I find it disgusting, if not treasonous that Obama and his treacherous administration has spat in the faces of these victims, throwing them under the bus, just as Obama prepares to leave for Egypt and Saudi Arabia while advocating for the closing of the U.S. 'Gitmo' prison in Cuba and giving full access to the U.S. court system to the terrorists currently imprisoned at Gitmo. Just who the hells side is this disgusting puke on? Certainly he is not on the side of the United States or the American people. When he gets to Egypt and Saudi Arabia, what in God's name does he plan to do, tell them how terrible and horrible the United States is, and then beg for the foregiveness of the Muslims?

In Prohibitionist Idiot #001, I profiled a common everyday idiot of the next door variety. Let's take a look at some prohibitionist idiots that somehow get more attention than they deserve - the local police.

It amazes me how police officers get so much media attention. They are possibly some of the dumbest "professionals" one would ever meet. Think about it. You take some D-student/sports reject from high school, give them a badge and a gun, and all of a sudden, they're experts on marijuana and the black market economy.

What are we talking about?

I am talking about whenever there is news about a marijuana bust, some prohibitionist idiot kop (slang for dirty cop) decides to apply a monetary value to that marijuana that is completely outrageous.

First, let's just go over the story. "Police" find 200 marijuana plants. They tell the media that the bust is worth $3,000,000, that is, three million dollars. That's $15,000 per plant.

I ask this simple question: When did these police officers ever get the education to come up with that figure? What secondary learning institutions did they attend that gives them the expertise to decide the worth of a marijuana plant? NONE! It's bullshit... another prohibitionist idiot lie.

The True Price of Marijuana

As a marijuana grower with a business degree, I can say without hesitation, there is absolutely no way in hell that one plant, grown indoors, will ever be worth $15,000, today. Even in these tough economic times, it would still take centuries of inflation for one marijuana plant to be worth $15,0000.

An ounce of the highest quality marijuana may sell at it's very highest price $600 (real market price is around $400). There are 16 ounces in a pound. At non-wholesale prices, a pound of marijuana can sell for $9,600. At wholesale prices, a pound of the highest quality marijuana will sell for around $5,000 to $6,000.

When growing marijuana, the measurement of success is how much weight you can get per 1,000 watt, or 1 kilowatt, light, not per plant. The magic number that every grower tries to obtain is TWO pounds per light. Typically speaking, even some of the best growers will only reach about ONE pound per light. You can fit between 12 and 16 plants per kilowatt light. (I'll speak more about why this is in another blog post)

Keep in mind, we're talking about indoor conditions. If we do our math correctly, the true worth of marijuana per plant, in the most optimal conditions is around $400 to $600. This 200 plant grow is not worth anymore than - at it's highest and most optimal - around $100,000, not $3 million.

John Tyler Presidential Dollar Rolls Sold Out

The 2009 John Tyler Presidential Dollar Rolls are now sold out at the US Mint. The rolls first went on sale May 21, 2009, meaning the sell out took place in less than two weeks. The 25-coin rolls had been available with coins from the Philadelphia or Denver Mint and were priced at $35.95 each.

This sell out has wavered from expected to unexpected, as the US Mint has handled similar situations differently. After early sell outs for prior 2009 bags and rolls, it seemed like the Mint was increasing the number of rolls and bags available for subsequent releases. Apparently, this is only the case sometimes.

The first roll offering for the Birthplace Lincoln Cents sold out a modest production run relatively quickly. The US Mint responded by ramping up production for the second Formative Years Two Roll Set. To date, more than 200,000 sets have been sold and they remain on sale at the US Mint.

The first roll offering for the William Henry Harrison Presidential Dollar sold out 30,000 rolls for each mint relatively quickly. It seemed reasonable that the US Mint would treat this situation similarly to the 2009 Lincoln Cent roll offering and increase the number available for the next release. With today's sell outs, it seems likely that the John Tyler Presidential Dollar Rolls had the same 30,000 rolls per mint allocation as the prior release.

On a related note, the final production figures for the Guam Quarter have now been released by the US Mint. The figures are 42,600,000 for the Denver Mint and 45,000,000 from the Philadelphia Mint. These figures fall below the low numbers for the prior Puerto Rico Quarter.

The 1,000-coin Guam Quarter bags are currently listed as "temporarily unavailable" on the US Mint's website. The 100-coin bags and two roll set remain available for sale. The low mintage for the Guam Quarter may spur more bags and rolls sales. However, it's anyone's guess whether the US Mint has wildly expanded the number of rolls and bags available like they did for the Formative Years Cents, or if they kept the availability the same like they did for the John Tyler Dollars.

US Mint Gold Coin Price Increase

With the price of gold steadily above the $950 level over the course of the past week, collectors can expect another price increase for US Mint gold coins tomorrow.

Under the US Mint's pricing policy for gold and platinum numismatic products, prices can be adjusted once per week if the average London Fix price of gold moves across certain thresholds. The average price is taken from the preceding Thursday to Wednesday. If the average price moves into a different $50 increment, prices are adjusted accordingly.

The average London Fix price for gold from last Thrusday through today is about $972. Unless gold makes a significant move tomorow, prices for gold coins will increase by $50 for each ounce of gold content.

Products impacted by the price increase will be the First Spouse Gold Coins and the Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin. The First Spouse coins would have their prices increased from $616 (uncirculated) and $629 (proof) to $641 and $654. The UHR would see its price increase from $1,289 to $1,339.

These increases will bring the prices back to the highest level since the new policy went into effect. Prices were previously at these same levels for one week during mid-February.

If you are considering purchasing any gold coins from the US Mint, don't delay. The US Mint has generally put new pricing into effect on Wednesday around mid-day.

It is said that doing thing at the last minute is human nature, especially if it involves something unpleasant. . Take filing income tax return for example. Tell me how many people enjoy filling in the annual income tax return form. Those filing their income tax return forms earlier are a rare minority. Pay a visit to the Inland Revenue Department on the last day for submitting the income tax return form and you will be greeted by a huge crowd all scrambling to submit their income tax return form in time to avoid getting fined for being late.

Traveling is another matter. One may travel for business or leisure. Most people plan their travels well in advanced of the day of departure. There are some who do not like to plan but may travel on impulse at the last minute. Businessmen may be suddenly faced with some critical situations which necessitate travel at the last minute. Traveling at the last minute can be really stressful.

However we are lucky that there are websites which can assist with booking last minute flights and last minute accommodation.

Now if you ask me which airline is the best in the world, I will tell you that it is the Singapore Airlines. Perhaps I am a bit biased as the CEO of Singapore Airlines was DR. CK Cheong (Dr. Cheong Choong Kong, now retired) was my Statistics lecturer. Dr. CK Cheong led Singapore Airlines (SIA) to become one of the best in the world. No, I don't think I am biased. Murder is murder and is never right, even in the case of Dr. George Tiller (the "Baby Killer"), who was shot to death while functioning as an usher at his church. But again, we must heed the words of Holy Scripture: "The wages of sin is death." This warning refers to both death of the spirit and of the body.

I listened to Fox News Channel's "KELLY'S COURT" with Meagan Kelly, a former judge, as she and her guests (one a defense attorney, the other a prosecuting attorney) as they argued the case. Kelly stated; "No matter how much the public may detest Tiller's actions in performing late term abortions, he was acting well within the laws of the State of Kansas and there is never an excuse for murder."

Okay, lets step back and take a look at her statement. As long as the government says it is legal to kill off thousands of unborn innocents, even up to the moment of their birth, then that makes it okay and it is not murder, because the government says it is legal, then suppose the government says it is okay for citizens to go after and kill off certain groups of people, say Christians, Jews, blacks, homosexuals, etc., does that make it okay because the the government sanctioned it?

No, it was not okay for Tiller to be gunned down, but by the same token, it was NOT okay for Tiller to slaughter thousands of innocent unborn babies, no matter who sanctions it. MURDER is MURDER no matter who the victim is, but some times, even the just can be pushed too far. Did you hear that Obama?

Barack Hussein Obama chimed in, releasing the following statement: "I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved heinous acts of violence." It is too bad that Obama is not 'shocked and outraged' by the numbers of innocents that are slaughtered on a daily basis. What you, Mr. Obama, fail to understand is that when immoral, unnatural and unethical acts, such as abortion, euthanasia and homosexuality are forced upon people because our government has deemed to legislate immorality at the behest of special interest groups, and we the people no longer have recourse through either the courts or the ballot box, decent people finally snap and resort to the only option they have left to them, even if that option is violence. If to save the life of even one innocent unborn child, or to save the moral a spiritual life of our children and grandchildren means that those who are committing the harm must die, then so be it. The death of the evil doers is preferable to the death of millions of innocent children. Those of you on the left who support and condone evil, only have yourselves to blame when you provoke the righteous to rise up against you.

Those on the left are destroying our country and they are bringing the wrath of Almighty God upon this nation as He removes His blessings and protections from us, not only because our government is turning its back on Israel, and has legalized and embraced the slaughter of millions of innocent children in their mother's wombs, and the fact that we have kicked God from the public venue, and the fact that as a nation, we have allowed the corruption and sexualization of our children and grandchildren in our public school system, and we are now legalizing and embracing the abomination of homosexuality and allowing the sodomites to brainwash and pervert our children (even as young as five years of age) into accepting their filthy perversions as being normal and something to be tolerated and esteemed.

God not only punishes individuals for their individual sins, but He also punishes entire nations for the national sins of their leaders.



SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT!

A long long time ago, the United States had a government that was "BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, and OF THE PEOPLE," but like I said, that was a long long time ago. Since about 1913, the government has become a government "BY BIG BUSINESS and SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS, FOR BIG BUSINESS and SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS, and OF BIG BUSINESS and SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS." Therefore, when you hear talking heads and pundits on the Fox News Channel, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc., say; "Congratulations, we are all now shareholders of General Motors, because our government is now the major stockholder of GM," that is a LIE. We are NOT shareholders in GM; the government IS the shareholder, not you or me. The Obama administration stole your tax money to pull off the second largest scam in U.S. history (the first being the Federal Reserve Banking Act). You and I had absolutely no say in the matter.

Shareholders in corporations receive quarterly or yearly dividend checks. Do you honestly believe that every American citizen is going to receive such dividend checks? Nope, it isn't going to happen. Now, do you still feel like a shareholder?

US Mint Product Schedule Update

Over the weekend, the US Mint made a change to their product schedule. The Letitia Tyler First Spouse Gold Coin, previously scheduled for June 4, 2009 has been delayed until July 1, 2009.

On several occasions this year, the US Mint has delayed products just prior to their published release dates. At this time, the reason for the delay is unknown.

The schedule change brings to light a few issues. According to the US Mint, they are authorized to produced and sell First Spouse Gold Coins "for approximately one year from the date of issue or until sold out, whichever occurs first." In practice we have seen the US Mint end sales of the year-ago release to coincide with the release of the current issue. Most recently, sales of the Elizabeth Monroe coins ended as the Anna Harrison coin sales began.

The Louisa Adams First Spouse Gold Coin is next in line to have sales end. The coins originally went on sale May 29, 2009, so they are already over the one year mark. Will the US Mint continue to offer the coins for sale until the release date of the Letitia Tyler coin? This would results in a sales period of over 13 months. This may cause frustration for collectors who were awaiting the end of sales to lock in a low mintage figure for the Louisa Adams coins. Sales figures now stand at 3,958 and 6,620 for the uncirculated and proof versions respectively.

A second issue caused by the delay is the eventual pricing for the Letitia Tyler coin. Under the US Mint's current pricing policy, prices are determined based on the average London Fix price of gold for the preceding week. When the average price moves across price ranges set at $50 intervals, prices are adjusted. Gold has been moving up steadily for the past several weeks, resulting in a price increase two weeks ago and likely this week. If gold's momentum continues during June, the price of the Letitia Tyler coins may be the highest initial pricing for any coin in the series to date.

A final consideration, with the release date moved up until July, the US Mint's product release schedule will be completely empty for the remainder of the month. The eagerly awaited 2009 Proof Set will go on sale today June 1, 2009 at 12:00 Noon ET. After that, collectors will have to wait until July for the next product. Except for the year end period, I can't recall such a long dry spell for US Mint product in recent years.
