Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was living in Lakeland at the time, the Cuban missile crisis was going on and the sky was full of bombers, some had 8 small jets surrounding each one. They were in the air continually then one day there was none.

The sky was a perfect blue, no clouds and we were playing outside. At the same time we realized there was a hum, or vibration that made our hair on our arms tingle, almost like static when lightning is in the air. We all looked up at same time and saw this half circle/horseshoe shaped silver object just hovering.

It had five dome shaped lights hanging on the bottom and they alternated colors, dull green to dull red. It was about the altitude of a small plane might fly at. It hovered and maybe a minute later the UFO left suddenly.

I became a UFO fanatic, curious now after all this time we still don't have anything like that technology. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing two UFOs in my life, both thought changing.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My daughter was sitting outside and called for someone to come outside because she saw something in the sky. My husband went outside and she pointed out objects in the sky. They were triangular, white, almost blending cloud color flying below the cloud line. The objects were flying south.

At first there were 3, and then 2. One was flying horizontal and one was flying on an angle, like sideways. It was very, very strange.

These objects made no noise. My husband describes them almost kite like, but they were definitely some type of aircraft. Any info on what this could be would be most appreciated. I Googled white triangular UFO and todays date and found a YouTube in Atlanta and some of the footage. It looks triangular like both my husband and daughter say that is what they saw, but with the naked eye. Thank you very much.

Saucer Shaped UFO Over Ruby Beach Washington

Date: June/July 5, 2004

Time: Daytime sighting.

I also witnessed this same UFO with a friend on Ruby Beach, June/July 5, 2004. The weather was very clear with sun shining brightly. Can’t remember the exact date, but the sighting was unforgettable.

The other witnesses description I found by Googling “UFO ruby beach” is exactly what I saw. (http://unitedstatesufo.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html) It was the first and last thing I have seen like it in my entire life. Here is the other witnesses description and I couldn’t describe it better;

“I saw a flying object moving south paralleling coast on Ruby Beach in the afternoon, on a weekend in June or July 2004. The object was observed through binoculars. It was pulsating extremely bright and multi colored.

The object turned on it's axis and became saucer shaped, no colors. Object then turned and appeared round again and turned directly eastward, sped eastward out of sight. Observed for 10 - 12 minutes total. Never saw anything like it before or since.”

The pulsating colors and the fact that it turned and became saucer shaped the rotated back to flashing colors and turned 90 degrees and flew off quickly to the east is what stands out to me. My witnessing friend is a licensed pilot and an aircraft buff but he couldn’t explain it either.

Large Green Glowing Disc Shaped UFO Hovering Over Garden Grove California

Date: 1987 – 1988-ish

Time: Evening.

I was turning left onto Orangewood Street from Yuclid. After I turned I noticed a large green glowing disc shaped UFO hovering in one spot over the distant trees to my left that was the property of a elementary school. As I noticed it, I immediately started crying and pulled over to the curb, unable to drive and shaking profusely. I immediately called 911 and they told me to call the news.

While still shaken up, I reported to the news and they told me dozens of calls had come in already with the same description. While I was talking to the news person, I was watching it and I was amazed at how the green glow was radiating around the UFO much like if you took a paint brush and drew a circle around it, then took a dry brush and fanned out the wet paint to where it looked spikey for lack of a better word.

Then it took off like the speed of light, and went to the right of where it was, or say it went northeast faster then I could count, one, two. It was as fast as a shooting star. The size of it from my perspective was if I put my fingers out to measure it from my eye was around 5 to 6 inches wide. I don't know exactly how far it was from me, but it gave me the feeling it was as big as an airplane.

It was greyish, but it was evening. I was one of the only times in my life that I was brought to my knees in awe. I knew immediately when I saw it, my brain said, it’s a UFO! Never in my life have I ever seen anything like it, accept on UFO sighting websites. This is the first time I have reported it, besides with the news.

Football Shaped UFO As Large As A Carnival Cruise Ship Over Allentown Pennsylvania

I found your email online. I know this is going to sound crazy, but I have a sighting to report. If I didn't see this with my own two eyes I wouldn't have believed it. I always laughed when people told their stories about these" football shaped objects in the sky, now its no longer so funny to me. I was both amazed (as I tried to process what I was seeing) and alarmed at the size of this object.

It moved effortlessly, silently, and suddenly changed directions and vanished. It did not speed off like I have heard other people say when witnessing similar events. It was suddenly just gone. For something to disappear instantly, (at least something of this size,), it would have to be moving at accelerated speeds not yet developed. Below is an entire description of what I saw.

Location: Roth Street, 1 block from Fairmont street intersection, Allentown, PA. Object: spotted in the sky over a grouping of trees.

Description of Object: Football shaped, flying high, but not as high as a plane, flying in a diagonal pattern. Not sure of actual size. It appeared to be no less than the size of a very large Carnival cruise ship (as best I can describe).

It was definitely larger than the two commercial airliners that were in the sky at the same time. This was not a meteor or falling star. I am positive. This object moved deliberately. It was illuminated from the inside, red on the tail end, the rest was a soft, but bright white.

I can best compare the illumination to a frosted window that is lit from behind. Again, these were not external lights. When I saw the manner in which it was lit, the best word to describe what I thought was "intelligent". This is difficult to explain.

It was a perception, followed by a sensation of "awareness" that startled me. I know what I saw. I don't expect you to believe me, but I know what I saw. Again I know how crazy it all sounds. I cant believe no one has called or reported this sighting. I couldn't have been the only witness to this. Duration: 7-10 seconds.

Disk Shaped UFO Makes Wild Maneuvers Over Greentree New Jersey

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Traveling north on New Jersey Turnpike (I-95, clear skies with clear un-tinted windows) as a passenger watching numerous jets on their paths to airports, I noticed a sudden lack of air traffic. Then out of nowhere from directly south over my right shoulder, I saw an aqua-green very bright blinking lighted object which altered football, elliptical shaped flying and descending object, only four to five hundred feet away at an altitude of about 300 feet, about 30 degrees upward from the ground plane.

It was traveling at a very high rate of speed, more than 1 mile per second. It was blinking erratically and appeared to be in trouble. It felt like there was a signal or a message coming from it and I felt a strong sense of a problem within it. It passed us blinking and occulting and appeared as if it had crashed ahead about 2 miles east of the road still parallel to it.

While he continued driving, there was discussion about it between us as my associate was an experienced, small craft pilot and I was in the USAF in the 70's.

As we approached the area where the craft was downed, not knowing it would move again, I saw it rise to a height just above the vegetation and trees, crossing over the highway, but stopping dead center over our northern middle lane facing west. It was now extremely recognizable as a disk shaped craft which was still slightly blinking, but as a bright shadow-ish green in nature and clearly translucent as a night shining skin with apparent electricity flowing through it.

I wondered how this could be as I have never experienced such lighting or energy technology. It was clearly visible in it’s entirety from top to just about underneath. After about 15 seconds we were just 100 feet traveling slower and watching. I could tell it was about 3 car lengths in diameter determining it’s length as it appeared over an overpass, but this could not be determined as exact as I could not tell if it was directly over the bridge, or might it have been closer or nearer to us.

It accelerated west and parallel to the surface exponentially across the highway and continued to accelerate to a speed which just started to make it appear blurred at 4 seconds, quickly turned at a compound angle, 60 degrees to the right and 45 to 50 degrees upward through 2 layers of clouds. It could be seen as it was going through the second scattered cloud layer and disappeared away from our atmosphere at an extremely high rate of speed.

I had only average (laughable) interest in this type phenomenon prior to this encounter and was not a non-believer. However it did require convincing until this incident. Now I really do know. I remained silent about this until now because of the ridicule factor having been a finance company owner. I have seen, I believe.

The first one, according to my friend, "looked like a haze, with no distinct lights, just a boomerang-shaped haze moving across the sky that was lighter than the rest of the sky."

Ten minutes later, she pointed it out again, as it was heading in the opposite direction. I definitely saw this one. It was boomerang shaped and had lights forming a V. When it reached the horizon, it looked like it changed direction, and it was as if the lights changed from (arrow shaped), moving out of sight beyond the tree-line.

It was awesome!

Driving home around 6:00 or 6:30pm on the 605 freeway south, to my left we saw a bright light,like a yellow search light on a PD chopper. It wasn't a helicopter though. It was very bright and stationary. It then it faded slowly to a normal light and started moving. It went to the west over the freeway and because I was driving, I could no longer see it, but (name changed – Jim) was still watching it as it moved to the west the sharply back to the south.

By then we had exited the freeway and I stopped the car so I could watch it too. It was shaped like a "Boom-a-rang" and had a light at the two back points and one in the middle that flashed. It the angled (not banked, like a plane) back to the east and by then it had climbed and was moving faster than anything I have ever seen in my 55 years.

It was going 3 time as fast as a plane at the same altitude would be moving. It also left a trail which wasn't visible until a few seconds after it was gone. It was dark by then but you could still see the trail in the dark sky. Cool.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I will tell you about the 1st time when my girl and her son was with me. Somewhere around 9:00 in the evening we were standing on the back patio, and I just happen to look up and to the north of us and I saw what looked to be the shape of a tic tac.

It was moving at a medium speed up until the last couple of seconds, when it took off at a very fast pace and then right before our eyes. The damn thing look as if it just disappeared. Sir, I am no way a person that thinks these things up! This is something that’s really bothering me, only because since that 1st time with my family.

I have seen others, no other witnesses to these, unless it is seen elsewhere. I’m am kind of of scared to even talk about these things only because people think your nuts. I have said some things to other people around and I see their face already thinking this guy is about a quart short on the oil.

So what I do, is just leave it alone. So what do I do now? If your gracious enough to read my little thing here that would be great. Maybe we could talk on the phone or something and I could tell you about my other 2 sightings, I have had 3 that I can say, yes I saw something that cannot be from our world. Unknown Crescent Shaped Cloud Formation Changes Over Haworth New Jersey

I witnessed a similar sighting in Haworth, New Jersey. A strange crescent shaped cloud formation that seemed to be moving like a snake. It changed position and straightened out into a sort of missile shaped UFO with a trail of smoke coming from the bottom like a rocket. It then became extremely bright, like when magnesium burns. By that time it was getting late and I could no longer watch it. I spent about 2 hours staring at it .

Additional Information:

The date and time would be approximately August 20 on a weekday 1977 from 6:00 p.m. until about 8:00 p.m. The crescent shaped cloud formation was much smaller then the one you described.

Metallic Cigar/Saucer Shaped UFO Over Plummers Cove Jacksonville Florida

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were driving over the Buckman Bridge (I-295) heading east. As we (my fiancé and myself) were coming over the span heading east-bound (on the east side) I looked out over an area called Plummers Cove, which was just to the east-north-east of our location on the bridge, when I spotted a cigar shaped object hovering low on the horizon, just over the tree line.

At first, I thought it was just a P-3 Orion Naval aircraft (we were just south of NAS Jax). But upon further inspection, it was not an aircraft. I was able to triangulate it's precise location as I was coming down the bridge, because there were tall objects in the distance (the south side radio tower farm) and I had a vantage point that was the same height as the object, which allowed me to see trees in the distance behind the object, which made it easy to tell the object was in front of them and just over the tree line just east of the river, about 50 feet above the trees.

The object was metallic and cigar/saucer shaped and had what looked like little protrusions coming from the bottom of the object. There was no vertical stabilizers and it was not a blimp. The object was about the size of a car in relation to the trees it was over and the trees that were behind it, in the distance. The object remained stationary over the the trees. Even as we were moving at a rate of about 65mph, the object never moved from it's spot.

Our visual of the object was lost when we went lower than the tree line on the far east side of the bridge (here the bridge is about 30 feet off the water).

I'm a pilot, I'm very well trained in aircraft recognition and have never seen anything like this. It was very strange.

Later that night, strange lights were also seen in the area by several people, that I later read about.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was in my back yard when I noticed a very bright light in the sky. At first I thought it was a very bright star. Then I noticed it was moving in a northerly direction. I thought it may be a plane until I realized it was way too bright. I went into the house to get my binoculars, but couldn't find them.

Then I looked for my camera and realized I left at a Christmas party. I went back outside and the object was still moving in the same direction. I noticed what seemed to be a meteor that looked like it fell from the object. It passed behind a tree and I saw it when it went past the tree. I noticed what looked like two flares, one shooting upward and one shooting downward.

Then the light became very bright and disappeared. I immediately saw a small red light after it disappeared, then it also disappeared. It appeared to be a cigar shape, with very bright lights all the way around it. They did not diminish when the object headed away from me, as lights from an airplane would.

I didn't hear any noise, but the object may have been to far away. I don't believe it was a plane or helicopter. I thought it may have been a blimp moving fairly quickly, but it would have had to have some very bright lights all the way around it. I didn't see anything on the news, and felt I should report it to somebody.

Reddish/Orange Cone Shaped UFOs Over Melbourne Beach Florida

While waiting for the beginning of the lunar eclipse, my 16 year old son spotted a single reddish/orange cone shape object traveling from the north to south across the sky. Altitude was not discernable, there was no sound emanating from the object. It took approximately 2.5 - 3 minutes for the object to travel across the sky at a constant velocity. My son said that the object just appeared as he was looking at the moon.

We had binoculars to observe the eclipse, and on closer inspection with the binoculars my son described the object as a fiery reddish orange badminton birdy, i.e. cone shaped. In addition to myself observing it with my son, my 20 year old daughter also observed the object. After the object was out of sight, my daughter and I returned to the house, but my son remained outside expecting to see another object. Within 3-4 minutes my son was yelling inside the house that another object was in sight - this time my daughter, my wife, and myself were outside observing the object.

This one was following the same trajectory, however, it's track was approximately 10 degrees more easterly in the sky. As this second object started to disappear in the southern sky, two more objects appeared in the northern sky. One of them followed approximately the same track as the first object, and the other one followed the track of the second object - i.e. their east/west position in the sky as they both travelled north to south. None of the objects produced any discernable noise. They did not have any strobes, nor did we see any kind of rotating beacon, or green starboard light on the object.

We've lived on the space coast for nearly 18 years and have seen scores of space shuttle and rocket launches from Kennedy Space center and Canaveral Air Force base. The color and intensity of the objects were similar to that of a rocket plume, but did not have any corresponding noise/vibration, nor did it appear to travel with the velocity necessary to achieve orbit.

The speed was constant, not accelerated. I am an instrument rated private pilot with hundreds of hours of flying time. I also have a Bachelors degree in Physics and in Aerospace Engineering. I am 50 years old and have never seen anything like these objects in the sky. A video clip from my son's iPhone was taken, but not does share anything besides our comments for a brief period and a dot of light.

Orange Yellow Lights Around Perimeter Of Elongated Octagon Shaped UFO Over Kauai Hawaii

Island of Kauai HI. (above Kapaa) 12/29/10 approximately 8:30pm, northeastern sky. My girlfriend and I were returning to our home after having dinner. When we walked up the stairs to our Lanai, I noticed what at first appeared to be the streetlight across the street.

As I stopped to look, this elongated octagon shape was moving from west to east across the sky. This geometric shape had what appeared to be orange/yellow lights that were pulsating around the perimeter of the shape.

The object was approximately 1000 - 3000 feet above the ground and was moving extremely slowly across the sky. The object paused or hovered and began to move upward in the sky. It then moved down and across to the West retracing it's previous path. I attempted to take a
picture with my cell phone, but couldn't get it to work in the dark.

The object then seemed to drop slowly and disappeared into a cloud. The object was visible for approximately 3 - 5 minutes. After it disappeared into the cloud we went into the house, and it proceeded to rain very heavy. After the rain stopped, we went back outside, but there was no trace of the object.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was above my neighbors house, just hovering about 100 feet up. It was a round disc that was about 25 feet wide that had all different color lights around it, but what was funny is that it beamed a light upwards.

For about 15 minutes everyone was trying to take a picture and no ones camera worked. Some people thought it was the end of the world and started praying. All of a sudden it zoomed away at an incredible speed. Before it zoomed away, the clouds swirled around the UFO in this weird way. That part freaked me out. What's weird also it did not make any noise. We were the ones making noise.

This was in Kahului on One St. About 50 or more people saw this. I think people are not talking about it because they no like look crazy. My whole neighborhood couldn't have been tripping out, "we all saw the same thing!"

Grayish Blue Metallic Egg Shaped UFO Over Wichita Kansas

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I lived in a loft apartment on a downtown street in Wichita Kansas. To exit my loft I accessed the roof and went down stairs behind the building. Late one night I went out to keep an eye on a friend who was walking my dog. I stood on the roof, watching her. Something caught my eye and at first I thought it was a balloon, but it was a large, silent object gliding through the air over the back parking lot toward me.

It was oval or egg shaped, a grayish blue metallic color. There was some kind of rod or stick that came out of the back end. It was firm, not a string. It glided over my head as if it were on a wire. Triangular Shaped Large Metallic UFO Hovering Over Eustis Florida

Date: December 3, 2010

Time: Approx: 7:55 p.m.

I would like to report a sighting of a large metallic air craft in the southeast skies on Friday December 3, 2010 approximately 7:55 AM. Unfortunately, we were unable to take a photo of it.

There was four people including myself that witnessed this event. Each person can testify as to what they saw. The object hovered in the same spot for at least 8 minutes. Then it was out of eye range due to some trees until after I got dropped off at work at 8:05am. My fiancé' and children continued to witness the craft on the way to school in Mt Dora.

Later that day they informed me that the craft was still in the same spot and then did a 90 degree turn before disappearing around 8:20am. A precise description of this object would be: triangular shaped, metal, but very shinny/glossy metal. It was very large compared to a plane in the area of the sky and same distance. Our son was the first to see it and brought it to our attention by calling it a "star". That is how shinny it was. The sky was noticeably brighter than usual.

In conclusion, this was no star, plane, blimp, hang glider, Para shooter, nor modern human technology or architect. We have shared our experience with various friends and family, unsurprisingly with the response of disbelief. I know what I saw that day.

Colored Diamond Shaped Object Over Kerrville Texas

Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Kerrville, Texas.

Shape of Objects: Diamond shaped.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: A diamond shaped object was floating in the sky, changing colors from orange to green to white. It had not moved to 5:00am in the morning then slowly faded away.
