Disk Shaped UFO Makes Wild Maneuvers Over Greentree New Jersey

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Traveling north on New Jersey Turnpike (I-95, clear skies with clear un-tinted windows) as a passenger watching numerous jets on their paths to airports, I noticed a sudden lack of air traffic. Then out of nowhere from directly south over my right shoulder, I saw an aqua-green very bright blinking lighted object which altered football, elliptical shaped flying and descending object, only four to five hundred feet away at an altitude of about 300 feet, about 30 degrees upward from the ground plane.

It was traveling at a very high rate of speed, more than 1 mile per second. It was blinking erratically and appeared to be in trouble. It felt like there was a signal or a message coming from it and I felt a strong sense of a problem within it. It passed us blinking and occulting and appeared as if it had crashed ahead about 2 miles east of the road still parallel to it.

While he continued driving, there was discussion about it between us as my associate was an experienced, small craft pilot and I was in the USAF in the 70's.

As we approached the area where the craft was downed, not knowing it would move again, I saw it rise to a height just above the vegetation and trees, crossing over the highway, but stopping dead center over our northern middle lane facing west. It was now extremely recognizable as a disk shaped craft which was still slightly blinking, but as a bright shadow-ish green in nature and clearly translucent as a night shining skin with apparent electricity flowing through it.

I wondered how this could be as I have never experienced such lighting or energy technology. It was clearly visible in it’s entirety from top to just about underneath. After about 15 seconds we were just 100 feet traveling slower and watching. I could tell it was about 3 car lengths in diameter determining it’s length as it appeared over an overpass, but this could not be determined as exact as I could not tell if it was directly over the bridge, or might it have been closer or nearer to us.

It accelerated west and parallel to the surface exponentially across the highway and continued to accelerate to a speed which just started to make it appear blurred at 4 seconds, quickly turned at a compound angle, 60 degrees to the right and 45 to 50 degrees upward through 2 layers of clouds. It could be seen as it was going through the second scattered cloud layer and disappeared away from our atmosphere at an extremely high rate of speed.

I had only average (laughable) interest in this type phenomenon prior to this encounter and was not a non-believer. However it did require convincing until this incident. Now I really do know. I remained silent about this until now because of the ridicule factor having been a finance company owner. I have seen, I believe.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My mother and father were on their way home from the Clubhouse at High Point Country Club. They turned left out of the Country Club and headed toward route 206. As they passed Dr. Coburn's office, the local vet, they sited a round cylindrical enormous object over the substation on Robin Hill Road.

My parents are the farthest from UFO believers, that they could not believe their eyes and no sooner than saying "Hun", do you see what I am seeing, the UFO quietly swooped over their car and stayed there for what they thought was an eternity, then it swooped off without a sound.

There a many, many sightings in Montage, NJ and Milford PA. It is well known in the area for those that wish to discuss. My parents kept this a secret for many years and finally told us.

Stationary Object Starts To Move Over Middletown New Jersey

Time: Approx: 11:45 p.m.

I was standing outside at approximately 1145 pm., smoking a cigar. I always look up at the sky and I saw a small object staying stationary. The lights were quick at turning off and on. It wasn't a plane, nor a helicopter. It was so strange that I stood there for three minutes and it didn’t move.

I went back in my house and grabbed my coat and a small pair of binoculars. It had moved to the left. At this time it stopped flickering and was really bright white. I followed it with my binoculars and it disappeared behind the trees. It looked like a bright planet, but was moving up and down and left to right. So strange!

I watch ancient aliens all the time and thought I was crazy, so I decided to Google UFO in New Jersey on 1/13/2013 and saw your post.

This was in Middletown, New Jersey, which is central New Jersey.

Soon after the first few were sighted, at least two military helicopters were spotted trailing the falling debris.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Very strange. I haven't seen anything like this and thought I wouldn't ever. I was on my front porch smoking a cigarette when I notice what had almost, very close to the shape of a airplane. It just looked to big and lights looked a little off where they would be and brighter than what I always seen.

After watching for about 1 minute, I notice that it wasn't moving and was changing different shapes (or at least the lights made it appear that way). The strangest one would have to have been when it went from about 5 or 6 lights in a strange pattern, to 1 bright white light to about 8 lights in a perfect circle. After it made the circle pattern, it slowly started moving to the right, stopped and went back to where it started from.

It went behind a cloud and I couldn’t see it anymore. From the time that I first notice it, until I lost it behind the cloud, I would say was about 6 or 7 minutes. There is no possible way that this was a aircraft that anyone of the public no's about. I live near 2 military bases and see airplanes at a close distance to far on a daily occurrence.

Also there is no way this was flares or weather balloons. I am not crazy and thought I wouldn't see something like this in real life, but now have. I not sure what this was, but I can say I no what it wasn't.

Unknown Crescent Shaped Cloud Formation Changes Over Haworth New Jersey

Date: August 1977
Time: 6:00 p.m. until about 8:00 p.m.

I witnessed a similar sighting in Haworth, New Jersey. A strange crescent shaped cloud formation that seemed to be moving like a snake. It changed position and straightened out into a sort of missile shaped UFO with a trail of smoke coming from the bottom like a rocket. It then became extremely bright, like when magnesium burns. By that time it was getting late and I could no longer watch it. I spent about 2 hours staring at it .

Additional Information:

The date and time would be approximately August 20 on a weekday 1977 from 6:00 p.m. until about 8:00 p.m. The crescent shaped cloud formation was much smaller then the one you described.

Strange Orange Light Over Southern New Jersey

At 10:30 pm on December 31, 2010 we saw a strange orange light while looking North. The color didn't match anything I have seen on a aircraft. It just moved steadily West to East for about 2 minutes then disappeared. The size and distance didn't look right for a Chinese lantern.

Friends also saw the same lights to the West about 2 weeks ago, but this time there were 3 of them and then were moving erratically. No way a floating Chinese lantern would do this.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know on the night of November 12, 2010, my husband and I were sitting in our backyard in front of our fire pit and noticed a “shooting star” coming from southeast that lasted a while and headed northwest over the Raritan Bay. We live in Middletown, NJ and very close to the beach. I had looked up online to see if anyone else had seen this “shooting star” and I found this article that I’m replying to.

I’ve never seen a shooting star before and my husband said he has, but he said this was the longest lasting one he had ever seen, according to the article I read, it was actually a satellite.

Around 200 People Observe Illuminated Object Over Bellplain State Forest In Woodbine South Jersey

Last night November 12, 2010 around 10:00pm about 200 spectators at a scheduled astronomy meet for the astronomy club located in the Bellplain State Forest in Woodbine in South Jersey saw this spectacular burst of illuminated debris fly over our heads. At first we thought it was a meteor (shooting star) but, it must have been a satellite burning up.

Many stated they never saw one travel so far and break apart as much as this one did and I agree, it stayed lit and traveled all the way to the horizon to the north of us and we lost site of it. Classic Spaceship Seen From New Jersey Looking Over Delaware River Into Bucks County PA

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Driving through Mercer County on Route 95 southbound, we were noticing numerous short contrails, or that's what they looked to be. By the time we got off the highway, driving through Ewing, NJ, we had focused in on two of them in the western sky that seemed to be getting brighter. One actually appeared to have what looked like flames coming off the tail.

We saw that one switch from a straight trajectory to suddenly turn in a tight circle, in a way unlike I'd ever seen a plane do. We pulled over to watch it for while, and were so fascinated wondering what it was and where it was going that we followed it for a while in the car, ending up parking along the Delaware River on the New Jersey side, looking towards PA.

We thought we'd lost sight of it, when we noticed the first one, then another small bright classic spaceship-shaped object hovering over the trees. We couldn't see anything but the light of them, and they didn't move for the five minutes or so we watched before we had to leave.

I've never seen anything quite like this and have never made a report of this nature before. It was just so strange that I had to share it and was hoping perhaps someone else might have seen whatever it was we witnessed.

Orange Yellowish Lights Over Woodland Park New Jersey

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I awoke very early yesterday morning with a text on my cell phone from my daughter who lives out in Arizona. Well, needless to say, after I had read her texts I was awake. I got up and went into my living room and it felt fairly cool out there because I had forgot to close the windows before I went to bed. So, I closed all the windows and lastly as I went into my kitchen to close the second window above my sink.

I noticed this bright light out back, which is ordinarily pitch black. So, of course I was like, what is this round orange yellowish light? a star? no way too big for any star. A meteor? no, because this light was pretty much stationary. A second light appeared to the left of this light, not attached, but much larger in size, identical in color, but it would change size from very large, to very, very small until it was invisible.

This much larger ball of light repeated this several times. I was in disbelief, I ran to my youngest daughter's room to wake her up so she could see this. She woke up very quickly, which now that I think of it, it was a miracle in itself. I took her to the kitchen window, at that time, there was just the smaller ball of light, very small, but returned to the original size when I first seen it.

This light did not get one half the size as the other orange yellowish light. I waited about a minute or so, and the larger light did not return. I quickly got dressed and ran out to my car to take a drive to see if I could get a better glimpse past the tree line, but I seen nothing, like a seen out of my kitchen window.

Shortly thereafter, I was sitting in my kitchen having a bowlful of oatmeal. It was still dark outside. My daughter and her father were watching a DVD in the living room. As I was washing my bowl out in the sink, I looked out the window, the same window as before and I see the 'smaller' light reappear at the same location as before. I quickly called my daughter and her father to the window to see this orange yellowish light, her father was in disbelief now. But, it was there, like nothing we have ever seen in our entire lives.

Bright Red Orange Object Over Ocean City New Jersey

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I just came across this website so I figured it wouldn't hurt to tell this event to someone. It was a clear summer night in Ocean City NJ. My family and I were sitting on the beach at night just looking at the stars and relaxing. Off in the distance to the south coming north we see a bright red/orange flying object flying parallel to the shoreline.

Our first assumption was some kind of plane going to land at the nearby Atlantic City airport. Continuously watching the object and as it got closer to us we didn't hear any sound coming from it. This is when it got weird. All of the sudden it turned east, but still on a northern track, headed out to sea, and then went north again and slowly began to descend towards the water still tracking north then disappeared into the water.

No sound, nothing. We didn't know what to think. At first we called the FAA to see if any planes had just crashed and they said everything was fine. Their explanation was it could have been a rocket from Cape Canaveral, but very unlikely considering the track the object took. To this day we still think about that night and it boggles our minds to think what we actually saw.

Mile Wide UFO Seen Over New Jersey/Pennsylvania Border Near Philadelphia

Shape of Objects: Huge craft with 4 bright beaming lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Late one night, I saw a craft with four bright beaming solid lights descend from a higher altitude and come to a stand still just this side of the Delaware River. It was all lit up with four lights running laterally across the center, there were two white and two orange lights.

It stayed motionless, the distance away at 1500 feet. It resembled the sketch of the Stephenville, Texas craft reported earlier that year. it also resembled, as seen from behind, the flashing red and green lights of the Stephenville videos, which I had seen on a quiet December 24, 2001 night very close to the spot of the present sighting.

It beamed down to the ground a brilliant white searchlight. There was no helicopter seen or heard at that one block distance. Eventually it shut off the light, and veered toward New Jersey flashing red and green lights, just like the ones seen in the Stephenville and Kokomo sighting videos. Identification? Flying saucer about 1 mile wide and 1/2 mile high seen by me at 1,500 feet hovering.
