Business is about limiting risk. While there is a certain amount of risk surrounding each and every business deal, the object is to limit risks to the point that a profitable outcome is the most likely outcome possible. The parameters for business in the United States are framed by both ethics and laws. Lately it seems U.S. Business has been lacking both. Congress seems to be in polar opposition to both ethics and law.
It really doesn't surprise me that we are in the situation we are. Congress keeps changing the rules in the middle of the game. This type of behavior creates instability. Instability increases risk. Increased risk makes the United States a less attractive place to do business. China however has very stable rules set. Albeit different rules than we have they are SET. I'm not suggesting we imitate China, however we do need to SET RULES and let the business grow accordingly. Now is not the time for socialist experimentation!
Congress is very unstable. Nobody can predict what the hell those politicians are going to do next. That instability destroys confidence and economies.
Set the rules so we as Americans can restore this nation to where it should be, to where it is intended to be.
