Iran 'stoning woman' to be lashed over photo: son
Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani, an Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning for adultery, has also been sentenced to 99 lashes for a photo published of her without a headscarf, according to her son.
As an American this blows my mind. I'm not referring to the stoning of a women after getting 99 lashes in Iran. I would expect that from those people. What blows my mind is the fact that American women don't speak out against this type of behavior. I would love to send a liberal anti-war female rights political activist over to Iran to let her witness the lashing/stoning first hand. I would love to see her attitude after that perspective changer.
If the majority of liberal dovish females witnessed the injustices to women in the mid east my guess is they would become very hawkish (pro war) very, very, quickly.
