I don't particularly agree with burning the Koran, however the pastor has the right! Why should we give up our rights because some other people in the Mid East don't agree?

I don't particularly agree with burning the Koran, however the pastor has the right!  Why should we give up our rights because some other people in Afghanistan don't agree?

The big issue I have with the whole thing is the fact that we are capitulating to the Terrorists.  Obama, General Petraeus, and Defense Secretary Robert Gates all share the same opinion.   Don't do this because it might make them mad.  Don't do this because it will increase recruitment to Al Qaeda.

So because we might offend our enemies we shouldn't do this...

AMERICA!  HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!!!

Our freedoms are OUR FREEDOMS!  If burning a Koran will increase Al Qaeda recruitment GOOD!  More terrorists to rid the world of.  I mean come on anyone that would join Al Qaeda over the burning of a Koran already has a terrorist mentality.

While I may be against burning books regardless of context, I AM FOR OUR FREEDOMS AND LIBERTIES.  I REFUSE TO LET THESE PEOPLE DICTATE WHAT WE CAN AND CAN'T DO AS AMERICANS!

Do the Mid Eastern governments care when the people burn American Flags?
Do the Mid Eastern governments aid us in our struggle?  Iran is now offering 1k per dead US soldier.

Yeah, I'll agree to the building of a Mosque on ground zero...When they build a Synagogue and a Catholic Church 3 blocks from Mecca.
