As part of PROJECT 2996 and as a Remembrance of all those who lost their lives on 9/11, I am posting this tribute.

Every year on 9/11 I try to post a tribute to Allen Bondarenko who was married to my cousin Julie Cantatore Bondarenko. This year, I shall do the same.

ALLEN BONDARENKO
was 53 years old and lived in Flemington, NJ
with his wife, my cousin, Julie and children.

On the day and time of the attack, Allen was at work at the
World Trade Center on the 91st floor of Tower Two.

Following the attack on Tower Two, Allen was last seen heading
down one of the stairwells. A fellow employee urged Allen to go down in one of the elevators with him, but Allen felt it would
be safer taking the stairs, his friend took an elevator.

Allen was never seen again, however his co-worker made it out
safely, surviving the collapse of Tower Two.

America lost many wonderful people on 9/11, and one of those
was my "cousin" by marriage, Allen Bondarenko, a great
man, husband and father.

Allen was extremely well liked and had more friends then most people I know. He is sadly missed by all.

COME, BRETHREN, let us give a last kiss to those who have died, and let us give thanks to God. They have left this world and are with the Lord. No longer are their minds concerned with passing things, or with the flesh so weak. We, their family and friends have been cut off from them, but let us ask the Lord to grant them rest.

THE EARTH is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof, the world and all those who inhabit it. Remember, O man, that you are dust and unto dust you shall return!

May the memory of ALLEN BONDARENKO, and all those who lost their lives on 9/11, and who are worthy of praise, remain with us for ever.

In the name of the +Father, and the +Son, and the +Holy Spirit. Amen.
