The United States Park Police arrested 61 people for demonstration violations in front of the White House.

During a demonstration, the participants failed to comply with the stipulations of their National Park Service permit.

After being given three warnings outlining the violation and informing the participants of the likelihood of arrest, these 61 people were arrested.

All were charged with disobeying an order and were taken to a United States Park Police processing facility.

Our nation, as a whole, is very much like individuals in that it has its ups and downs on a daily basis. Right now, America is under attack by our own elected officials and it seems that the United States seems to be getting knocked to the canvas over and over again. This is mirrored in our individual lives.

We watched as our country was "rope-a-doped" as a result of manipulation by not only greedy CEOs, but also by equally greedy senators, representatives, and an egotistical president, as they manipulated the housing market.

Just as we began to get a grasp of the implications of the housing bubble collapse, Obama and the Congress decided to sock it to us by dumping trillions of dollars of taxpayer dollars down a black hole in the governments unending grab for more and more power by taking control over our banks, insurance companies, auto manufacturing and our health care. ZAP! POW! A right upper cut and down we go.

As we start to get back up, we suddenly find ourselves 'hay milled' by an attack of a possible "swine flu" pandemic that just MIGHT be a manufactured crisis. As the MSM keeps us occupied over this "crisis", the Obama administration along with the Democrat members of Congress were busy as hell over the weekend, putting the final touches on the bill for National Health Care, which is part and parcel of the proposed $3.5 trillion FY 2010 budget. And it isn't over, there are lots more attacks to come and many more rounds to fight before it is over.

But we must remember, though we may be down, we are not out, NOT until the last punch is thrown! So, the question is, "Are we going to just lie here wallowing in self-pity or are we going to drag ourselves back up on our feet, staggering and bloody and ready for the next round? Is America going to go belly-up or is she going to rise to her full stature and do some serious butt kicking?"

Perhaps the following video will give you the courage you need:

I am just returning from a brief vacation. While I was away, several readers left comments about a surprising development reported in Coin World. The US Mint announced that they have ended officially production of 2009 Jefferson Nickels and 2009 Roosevelt Dimes.

According to the article, no more Jefferson Nickels or Roosevelt Dimes will be struck for circulation at either the Denver or Philadelphia Mints for the remainder of 2009. The production of remaining circulating coins will continue, but "in reduced numbers."

The most surprising aspect of the story is that the US Mint is announcing the end of production in April. Many collectors have been expecting drastically lower coin production, but I don't think anyone thought production for two denominations would officially end this early in the year. There must be an enormous stockpile of coins at the Federal Reserve, which literally ensures that no new coins will be needed for at least the next eight months.

The US Mint's coin production page indicates that 36.00 million 2009-P Jefferson Nickels and 33.36 million 2009-D Jefferson Nickels have been produced. There has not been a nickel struck for circulation with a mintage this low since the 1959 Jefferson Nickel with 27.248 million. Last year's production figures were 287.76 million and 352.80 million for Philadelphia and Denver, respectively.

Coin production figures indicate 78.50 million 2009-P Roosevelt Dimes and 41.50 million 2009-D Roosevelt Dimes have been produced. The Denver mintage represents the lowest mintage since the 1958 Roosevelt Dime which had a mintage of 31.91 million. Last year's production figures were 413.00 million and 637.50 million for Philadelphia and Denver, respectively.

In a previous post exploring 2009 Coin Production, I specifically mentioned dimes and nickels as denominations to watch for 2009. It seemed very likely that the mintages would be the lowest in years. The coins also seemed less likely to be retained by collectors as opposed to the other denominations which feature rotating designs.

This new announcement will bring greater attention to the denominations, but no matter how much collector's scramble to acquire and hoard the coins, I still don't think they will be retained in numbers as large as the other denominations. Circulation strike cents, quarters, half dollars, and dollar coins from each mint and for every design have all been (or will be) sold by the US Mint in bags or rolls. Nickels and dimes are the only 2009 circulation strike coins that the US Mint will not offer for sale directly to collectors.

The 2009 nickels and dimes also do not appear to be showing up in banks or in circulation yet. For the past several months I have been watching eBay auctions and contacting roll sellers to see if I could locate the coins. So far, I have come up completely empty.

Has anyone found any 2009 Jefferson Nickels or Roosevelt Dimes?

Starting on April 30, 2009, the US Mint will begin offering a Multi-Lens Collector's Box. This storage product may not be of interest to everyone, but I know there are some Mint News Blog readers who have been particularly frustrated by the issues created by the existing collector's boxes.

These boxes are created to house the US Mint's annual proof sets. The new Multi-Lens box comes with three dividers that can be moved to accommodate different one-lens, two-lens, or three lens proof sets. The number of "Lenses" refers to the number of plastic holders used to house the proof coins for each year.

After the State Quarter series began in 1999, the regular and silver proof sets offered by the US Mint were redesigned. Instead of all of the coins placed within a single lens, all coins except for the quarters were in one lens, with all of the State Quarters in a second lens. The US Mint offered Two-Lens Collector's Boxes to fit the sets. With ten slots per box, presumably the next decade of proof sets would fit in one box.

In 2007, Presidential Dollars were added to the proof sets. For 2007, the US Mint packaged the State Quarters in one lens and the non-quarter, non-Presidential Dollar coins in a second lens. These two lenses were placed in a cardboard outer box. The Presidential Dollars were in a separate lens and separate outer box. This packaging still could have accommodated the Two Lens Box, if you used an additional One Lens Box for the Presidential Dollars.

In 2008, the packaging was changed again. The configuration of coins within the lenses was the same, but all three lenses were placed within in a single cardboard outer box. The US Mint released a Three Lens storage box to accommodate the new format.

There were some collectors who were very upset by the packaging change in 2008. Collectors who had been putting their proof sets in the Two-Lens boxes since 1999, might have ended up with a Two-Lens box containing nine sets, a One-Lens box containing the 2007 Presidential Dollar Set, and a Three-Lens box containing the 2008 Proof Set. This was prior to the approval of the DC & US Territories Quarters series and the National Sites Quarters series, so at the time it seemed that there would only be a single three-lens proof set produced, making the situation even more ridiculous.

A few of my prior blog posts have received periodic complaints about this situation. The commenters also mentioned that they had contacted the US Mint and their Congressmen about the situation. The US Mint will introduce this new collector's box as "a one-size-fits-all storage solution" to the problem.

The product page for the new Multi-Lens Collector's Box can be found here. The official start of sales will be April 30, 2009 at 12:00 Noon ET. The new box is priced at $16.95 with additional 5-packs of dividers sold separately for $6.95.

Today you get three blogs in one:

Watch My Right-hand, Never Mind What My Left-hand Is Doing:

Could it be that the "Swine Flu" is a manufactured diversion, just a tactic to keep us occupied on the possible pandemic so that we don't pay any attention to what Obama and his cohorts are doing in Congress? 'Swine Flu' scare at the same time Congress is finalizing the budget for National Health Care! Hmmmm!

While everyone's attention has been kept on the Obama administration and the possible 'Swine Flu' pandemic, by the MSM, no one was watching that the Democrat congressional leaders and the White House were busy little bees over the weekend, hammering out the final details of the proposed $3.5 trillion FY 2010 budget bill, with NO Republican input, in a push toward final approval of the 2010 budget proposal by Wednesday.

Isn't it curious that the media stayed focused on the swine flu "epidemic" but hardly mentioned the $1.2 trillion dollar health care budget contained within the overall package?

Nationalized Health Care for Democrats has been a dream since the days of FDR, and health care is one of the drivers of government spending in Obama's budget, the liberals decided to use a process called "reconciliation" to ram through the budget bill in the Senate, (reconciliation waives the need for a super majority vote of 60; instead a majority vote will do) so there is no chance that Republicans will be able to derail the bill. Also disturbing is that debate will be limited without the possibility of any amendments. Sounds like another power grab, don't it?

A Traitor In Our Midst:

Sen. Arlen Specter finally shows his true colors. We all knew, or at least suspected that Specter was a RINO, now he has publicly switched political parties, joining the Democrat party today. Personally, I do not feel that this should be allowed, because that is taking away the voice of the people who elected him. When a candidate is elected to the Senate or the House of Representatives as Republican or Democrat, then that is what they should remain until the end of their term, if they don't feel that they can remain in the party that elected them, then they should resign their seat in Congress and have their State Governor appoint a replacement from the party that won the election, to finish out the term. To allow a sitting congressman/woman switch parties after they have been elected is NOT fair to the voters who elected them, because I believe this amounts to voter nullification.

Now This:

Can anyone answer the following question:

Does the President of the United States have the constitutional right and power to change the form of government of the country from a Constitutional Republic to a Socialist/Marxist state?

When I was a little kid in school, I was always taught that ours is a government by the people, for the people, and of the people. I was also taught that our elected officials worked for us and not the other way around. If all of that is true, and if we elect our presidents, senators and representatives to represent us, then what right, what power in the Constitution of the United States does Obama or any other president have to turn the United States into a Socialist/Marxist nation?

If there is no such power granted in the Constitution, that would make such an act a VIOLATION of the Constitution and a CRIME against the people of the United States, so why isn't Congress or the Supreme Court doing something to stop it? Can anyone answer this?

Pardon me for having been born ignorant, but how come, while we are having a "Swine Flu" scare, that just may become a pandemic, that appears to have originated in Mexico where they have had 149 deaths so far, our government issues a warning for American citizens NOT to travel to Mexico unless it is absolutely necessary, and they inform us that every one is being checked at the border to make sure they aren't ill, but they STILL refuse to secure the borders to prevent illegal immigrants from entering?

This is something that I have mention many times in the past, that with the millions of illegals flooding into this country at will, it isn't just drugs or terrorists that can be coming into the country, Lord only knows what sorts of diseases the illegals are bringing in with them, yet Congress does absolutely nothing. WHY?

Call me a paranoid schizophrenic, but I am almost willing to bet that this situation, should it get worse, will be used by the Obama administration to push us, first, into a merging of the U.S. with Mexico and Canada, with the next move being a One World Government.

Another question is why the hell was the presidential plane, Air Force One, flying at an extremely low altitude, followed by two fighter jets, over New York City, today, scaring the crap out of people who work in the New York financial district. The event brought back nightmares of the September 11, 2001attacks. Numerous buildings in lower Manhattan evacuated in a panic during this morning's false alarm. The military claims it was a photo-op. For what? That sounds like a load of crap to me. Now Obama claims to be "angry" over the incident. Yea sure he is.

People, Obama and his administration are getting out of hand and they need to be stopped. By the time this poser gets through, every last industry, banking institution, insurance company, etc., will be under direct control of the federal government. Next it will be every man, woman and child in the United States who will be under Obama's direct control. You don't think so, check out the following:

On Monday April 27, 2009 the United States Park Police arrested 91 people for violating demonstration regulations.

The group exceeded the statutory maximum participant number for demonstrating on the White House sidewalk without drawing a permit.

Because of the unseasonably high temperatures, the United States Park Police requested the assistance of the District of Columbia Fire Department to monitor the health and well being of the demonstrators as they were being processed. While the arrestees were processed, medical personnel continually evaluated their status and no heat related illnesses were reported.

A combination of factors have come together to create a drastically reduced number of 2009 collector products available at the United States Mint. A few readers have recently remarked that it's now "boring" to visit the US Mint's online store.

By my count there are only 22 2009-dated products available from the US Mint's online store. This compares to more than 50 2008-dated products available on the same date last year. There are a number of factors that have caused the reduced number of available products.

First, the US Mint intentionally reduced the number of products that would be offered for 2009. Numerous fringe products were eliminated such as the collectible spoons and the Historical Signature Sets. Product eliminations also included a large number of platinum and gold products. The number of anticipated Platinum Eagle offerings was cut from ten to only one, Gold Buffalo offerings were cut from ten products to only one, and Gold Eagle products were cut from ten to six. The cuts were supposedly in response to customers who complained that the US Mint offered too many products.

Second, the US Mint has been forced to delay the release of several 2009 precious metals related products. This includes the 2009 Proof and Uncirculated Gold Eagles and 2009 Proof and Uncirculated Silver Eagles. These collector products are suspended until the US Mint is able to obtain sufficient inventories of gold and silver blanks to meet market demand for bullion products. Release dates have not been set for the proof Platinum Eagle and proof Gold Buffalo coins.

Third, there has been a high percentage of sell outs for 2009 products. Sold out products have included all 2009 District of Columbia Bags and Rolls, proof and uncirculated Lincoln Commemoratives, William Henry Harrison Rolls, Lincoln Birthplace Rolls, and two options for Puerto Rico Bags. There is greater demand for these rolls due to record low mintages for some of the coins. Also, some collectors may be buying the rolls simply due to a lack of other options.

While I would have to agree that last year, the US Mint was offering too many products, this year the situation has swung to the opposite extreme. There are too few products available and the US Mint is not stocking inventories deep enough for these products to remain available for very long.

Listed below are the 2009-dated products currently available for sale at the US Mint. For anyone looking to draw comparisons, here is an archived version of the US Mint 2008 Product Release Schedule.

On Sunday April 26, 2009 at 7:40 pm, Montgomery County, Maryland Department of Fire and Rescue Services was dispatched to the Potomac River at Pennyfield Lock for reports of a person in the Potomac River and in distress.

The standard protocol for this type of rescue also sends the United States Park Police Aviation Section.

Montgomery County Fire Strike Teams 710 and 730 along with Company 731 dispatched rescue boats, EMS units, engine companies and truck companies.

United States Park Police Aviation Helicopter Eagle 1 manned by Pilot Sgt. Kevin Chittick and Rescue Technician/Paramedic Sgt. Chris Perkins responded. When Eagle 1 arrived, the flight crew observed a subject who had apparently been swept about one quarter of a mile down river by a swift current. He had managed to swim to an island.

As there was no access from shore, Sgt. Perkins jumped about five feet from the helicopter as Sgt. Chittick maintained a hover. Sgt. Perkins evaluated the medical condition of the patient. The patient was not seriously injured, however, the only way to remove him from the island was by Montgomery County Fire Department boat.

The boat crew removed the patient to Pennyfield Lock where the patient ultimately refused further treatment and transport to hospital for a leg injury.

The United States Park Police reminds visitors to the Potomac River to exercise extreme caution near the water as the seemingly calm surface hides a very swift and treacherous current below.
On Sunday April 26, 2009 at about 5:00 PM, the District of Columbia Fire Department, Washington Metropolitan Police Department, United States Park Police, Arlington County Fire Department, and United States Coast Guard responded to a river rescue in the Potomac River.

Units arrived on the Potomac River south of Chain Bridge to learn that an 11 year old male had been playing on the rocks along the Potomac River with his father. The 11 year old entered the river and was swept downstream.

This 11 year old boy was unable to be immediately rescued and the First Responder Units set up a rescue operation.

Assets from the Harbor Patrol and Aviation units have been diligently searching the water and the shore lines in an attempt to locate the missing boy.

As the rescue unfolds, District of Columbia Police Harbor Patrol Officers remind the public that the Potomac River is treacherous with swift water just below the surface. Personal Flotation Devices are strongly encouraged for people using the Park areas adjacent to the river and strongly cautioned not to enter the water.
Background
This past weekend, I was at a friend's house and I wanted to smoke but I couldn't exactly return there smelling of marijuana. I am sure we've all been in that situation. Letting it air out was not an option. I had some very potent Grand Daddy Purp in a strawberry dutchmaster. It was perfectly rolled using the water technique or "aqua rolling", no saliva on this one children.

See here:

Excuse the crappy camera phone pics. Blackberry isn't exactly known for their robust camera abilities.

So, I find a nice little secluded spot to "burn my kind" and make some private phone calls as well. After I got a nice comfortable high, I had to dash to the marijuana mobile for quick clean up.
The Routine
See folks, I am always prepared for such occasions as long as I have my car with me. Now, keep up with me:
  1. Mouthwash: You need some sort of mouthwash to get the smell off your breath. I prefer Listerine because I just don't trust any other mouthwash. I use the mint flavored version because the brown bottle leaves your breath with that "brown bottle" scent which is nasty. It wears off eventually but still lasts too long.
  2. Drink: Make sure you have a bottle of water; I had juice. Wash out your mouth. Juice is good to hide the minty fresh breath. People are going to wonder how in the hell you leave and come back with minty breath. "What were you doing?"
  3. Body Spray: You need a way to handle your clothes. Spray your body down. The scent is not as strong or long lasting as cologne or perfume. It will wear off but long after the marijuana smell is gone. As long as it's light smelling and doesn't last long, you're fine. I use Axe Phoenix.
  4. Hand Sanitizer: You need to do something about those fingers that held the blunt. Just shaking hands will leave a scent on another person. Apply generously and get it all in down to your wrists. You'll be fine. I use Lysol version.
  5. Fresh Air: It's always good to air out YOU. Just walk around the block or to the store. Let those scents dissipate for a minute.
The idea here is to buy small travel-sized versions so it all fits in your glove compartment. And, it's not just for marijuana smoking purposes. It's for any occasion. I also keep other things as well - first aid kit, comb, nasal spray, coco butter, etc etc etc. I'm just always prepared. What can I say!?

Some of you won't have a car or just won't be driving; simply put, you won't have your tools with you. Hey, I am in this situation all the time too. There isn't much that can be done here. Get some orange juice as the acid will help with your breath and some gum. Just try to air out as much as possible. Hand sanitizer is still an option since it's so small. If not, stop off at a fast food restaurant and wash your hands in the bathroom.

Now, I am going to smoke some more Grand Daddy Purp. Y'all be good.

Don't get caught by the cops or else you'll get swine flu!

There are many great photographers in the world, but very few are as lucky as the one who took the following shots.

They are a once - in - a - life-time event caught on film at the New Jersey shore.

In this first picture, if you look closely at the white pick-up truck, you can see a man sitting on the tailgate, and he is totally unaware of the show he is missing. That bird skimming just above the water at a high rate of speed is an American Bald Eagle.

There is a little duck to the left that is watching the eagle speed straight toward it at about 40 mph.

With perfect timing, the duck always managed to dive beneath the water with a mighty splash, popping back to the surface as soon as the eagle flew past. This was repeated over and over again for several minutes. The photographer was worried that the poor duck would tire out, and that would be the end of him.

A second eagle decided to join in the attack, but the duck just kept diving under water 'just in time', so the two eagles began to dive into the water after the duck, but without luck.

After several minutes, the eagles grew frustrated and began to attack each other. They began to dive vertically, level out and attack head-on in an old fashioned game of high-speed "chicken". Sometimes they would bank away from each other at the last possible second. Other times they would climb vertically and tear into each other while falling back toward the water. The duck is in the water at the far right, taking a breather.

Then came a terrible miscalculation! the luckiest shot of the photographer's life, he catches a 100 mph head-on collision between two bald eagles.

One of the eagles managed to stay aloft and flew away. To the far right, the other eagle lay in a crumpled heap in the water, while the duck (probably laughing his butt off) survived to live another day.

It was sad to watch an eagle drown. He wiggled, flapped and struggled mostly underwater. He finally managed to get his head above water and with great difficulty managed to get airborne again, and flew straight toward the photographer, and it was the most wretched and unstable bird in flight that the photographer had ever seen.

The poor bedraggled eagle circled the photographer once and then lit atop a nearby fir tree. the eagle had a six-foot wing spread and looked mighty angry. The photographer was worried that he would be the eagles next target, but it was so exhausted that it just looked at him. As it sat atop the fir tree drying its feathers, the photographer couldn't help but think that the poor beleaguered Bald Eagle symbolized America in its current trials.

After about a half-hour, the eagle was completely dried out, and flew away, almost as good as new. May America recover as well.
Art of Smoking in Public
I just decided to take these pictures.

The full caption is:
Grand Daddy Purp: $50..
Cig tubes: $5 for a box of 200..
Cig box: Free..
Smoking in public: Priceless
To be more precise and honest, I'll try to break it down for you a bit better. Of course there's marijuana.. duh!! The cigarette tubes are not emptied cigarettes, as in they were purchased and then emptied. You buy them empty. You can get them online as well. Just do a search for "cigarette blanks" and you'll find it. The cig box I got from a friend who's addicted to tobacco.
Tip
A friend of mine had a little trouble using them, the same trouble I had when I first used them. The problem is that the paper itself burns too quickly. This is obviously part of the how cigarettes are made. They need to be thin so they burn down quickly and you buy more tobacco.

The fix is to use a small stick - incense stick, for example - and pack that marijuana down along the sides. So, when you're stuffing the tubes, tap it on the table to get it to fall down naturally, then use the stick to get the sides. The cig should be somewhat firm by the time you're finished. Don't be afraid to seal it up so no bits fall out.

Another tip, which I don't do but I wouldn't be right if I didn't offer the optional idea. If you don't have a problem smoking tobacco and only want a small taste through out the day as I know some maintenance smokers prefer, you can definitely mask the smell by mixing about 1 part marijuana to 3 parts tobacco. Whatever tobacco you have left over, you can use in the empty tubes later on and you'd still have the box.
WARNING
As far as smoking in public, you must still be careful. The smell is still going to be very strong so when you are smoking, try to be somewhere alone. From far away, you'll be fine. People will just think you're hitting a regular cigarette. Trust me, it works!

Hi peoples!

I made my Daddy take a break from poly-ticks and liberal flea-bags. He needed a break.

So, I decided to share with you some amazing 3-D drawings made by a famous "Street Artist" named Edgar Mueller. These paintings look so real.

NOTE: The Surrounding buildings are REAL,
the 3-D Paintings were done on the streets and sidewalks.

This first one is called "THE WATERFALL"

This second picture is titled; "The Ice Age Crevice"

Number three is called; "A Shark Attack"

The fourth and last picture is called; "Lava Eruption"

Well, I hope you found these as fascinating as I did. Edgar Mueller is a real genius. Have a good weekend and I'll c u peeps later, I got to go find some liberal ankles to bite.

The US Mint has officially announced the second 2009 Lincoln Cent Two Roll Set offering. Two Roll Sets for the Formative Years or "Rail Splitter" design will go on sale at the US Mint on May 14, 2009 at 12:00 Noon ET.

This will be the second of four different reverse designs to grace the Lincoln Cent during 2009. The rotating designs are issued to mark the bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln's birth, which is also the centennial of the Lincoln Cent coin. Each design will cover a different stage of his life with a new design released periodically throughout the year. See all of the 2009 Lincoln Penny Designs and Release Dates.

The 2009 Lincoln Cent Formative Years Two Roll Set will contain two 50-coin rolls, one with coins from the Philadelphia Mint and one with coins from the Denver Mint. Each roll will use a custom designed wrapper which denotes the contents of the roll and the mint.

The rolls will be priced at $8.95 each with an order limit of five per household. This is the same price and ordering limit that was in place for the previous design, which sold out within two weeks.

May 14, 2009 will also mark the official release of the new design into circulation, as well as the launch ceremony in Lincoln City, Indiana. Attendees of the launch ceremony will have the opportunity to exchange currency for new rolls of the Lincoln Cents at face value.

CoinWorld has also reported that US Mint facilities in Washington, DC will also likely have the new Lincoln Cents available for exchange at face value on May 14. The locations where coins may be available for exchange are the US Mint sales centers located at Union Station, 50 Massachusetts Ave, NE and the first floor of 801 Ninth St. NW, in Washington DC.

The first 2009 Lincoln Cent release saw prices reach ridiculous heights, with regular unmarked rolls of the coins briefly selling for above $50 each. The premiums were driven by high demand combined with a lack of availability through the normal circulation distribution channels. Will there be a repeat for the second release?

In my opinion, there will be relatively large premiums, but not at the extreme levels briefly experienced for the first release. The story has simply gotten too much attention, including mainstream coverage in USA Today.

There will be plenty of speculators descending on the few locations where coins will be available, and immediately putting them up for sale on eBay and other venues. The US Mint will also have the rolls available on the launch date. The prior roll offering came over a month later. This more dependable supply should keep prices at bay.

Nonetheless, you still might want to mark your calendar for the US Mint's release. Even at $8.95, the two roll sets will probably sell out quickly.

It should be very obvious by now that Obama talks out of both sides of his mouth. First he says that he is against private owner ship of guns by the citizens. Then during the campaign, he said that he fully supported the Second Amendment. So, what are we to believe? I for one, believe that Obama intends to disarm the citizens of the United States, and he is doing it in a sneaky and underhanded way, but you can decide for yourselves.

Does anyone still wonder why ammunition is scarce and expensive? Perhaps this is why?

Georgia Arms is the fifth largest retailer of .223 ammo in America.
(they sell 9mm., 45 cal., etc., ammo)

They normally buy spent brass from the U.S. Department of Defense - "one time used" used shell casings by our military - from firearms training on our military bases, etc. They buy the empty brass shells and reload them for resale to law enforcement, gun shops, gun clubs and to Wal-Mart.

Georgia Arms normally buys 30,000 pounds of spent brass shells at a time.

This week, the D.O.D. wrote a letter to the owner of Georgia Arms stating that from now on the D.O.D. will be destroying the brass by shredding it. It is no longer available to ammo makers - unless they just buy it in the scrap shredded condition, which the ammo makers have no use for. The shredded brass is now going to be sold by the D.O.D to China as scrape metal.....that is after the D.O.D pays for the shredding, also, the D.O.D will be selling the brass to China for less money then the ammo manufacturers have been paying for the whole empty shells. That sure helps the U.S. economy, doesn't it? Sell cheaper to China and do not sell shells at all to a proven U.S. business. Is there an agenda at work here? Could Obama be going after our ammunition?

The owner of Georgia Arms related how one of his competitors had already purchased a load of spent brass shells last week and the D.O.D. contacted him this week and said that were sending an agent over to make sure that it was destroyed, SHELL CASINGS HE HAD ALREADY PURCHASED! The brass has no value to the ammo makers if it has been shredded because they only use the empty brass shells to reload different calibers, namely .223 cal. bullets.

The Georgia Arms owner says that he will have to lay off at least half of his sixty workers, within two - three months if the D.O.D. no longer sells their spent brass shells to them. He only has two - three months of shells left in inventory. By summer he is out of supply. If he has to buy new manufactured brass shells, then the cost of the ammunition for the buyer will double and/or triple in cost .... plus Obama wants to add a 500% tax on each shell sold.

Loss of U.S. jobs, control of ammunition by the Obama administration......this is liberalism at its best and we will be well on our way to socialism and worse. When times get bad....and they will very soon.... only the bad will have guns and ammo. This "Obamination" is going to turn good citizens into criminals, by taking our guns and ammo.

Thank God Obama cannot outlaw trees, we can still make crossbows and hide in the dark.

So who are the real intolerant hate spewing bigots

This is Perez Hilton, the outlandish disgusting
homo pig who went into a full-blown
(pun intended) attack on beauty pageant contestant, Carrie Prejean, calling her a b-tch and a c--t, as well as defacing photos of her with sexually explicit drawings - all because Carrie believes marriage should only be between a man and a woman.

I think Hilton is upset because he was unable to get a driver's license. The Department of Motor Vehicles ruled that he was "REAR ENDED" too many times.

He was last seen lurking around Willy Wonka's "Chocolate Factory".

It is because of freaks of nature like Perez Hilton that decent people should rise up against all laws that raise these jerks above normal folks and grant them special status. The only special about them is that they are a blight on society and need to be forced back into their closets where they belong.

NOW FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT:

Barack Hussein Obama signed into law the "GIVE ACT," H.R. 1388, which massively expands the National Service Corporation and allocates billions of taxpayer dollars to it, and as one executive for the program now says; "....will allow for the 'managing' of up to 8 or nine million people."

The bill includes a "CIVILIAN NATIONAL SECURITY FORCE" as big and as well funded as the U.S. military, and a "NATIONAL SERVICE RESERVE CORPS" whose members MUST have completed a "term of national service, 'training' and not less than 10 hours of 'volunteering' each year."

If Obama is going to create some kind of national police force as big and powerful and well-funded as our combined as our U.S. military forces, isn't this rather a big deal? I for one find this to be rather frightening as it brings up images of Adolph Hitler's "Brown Shirts, SS Storm Troopers, and the Hitler Youth Corp."

The plans for these organizations raise some very hair-raising FIRST AMENDMENT issues over its limitations on what various corp participants are allowed to do. For example: "Those in approved national service positions" may NOT try to influence legislation, engage in protests or petitions, take positions on union organizing, engage in partisan political activities, or, among other issues, be "engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of proselytizing."

Members pressed into the service of the one million -strong Youth Brigade, sanctioned by "Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education (GIVE)," will have none of the freedoms of their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. There is no room for God in Obama's long promised Youth Brigade, no room to protest, petition, to boycott or support a strike.

Hitler knew that if you control the youth, you control the future. Hitler stated: "The youth of today is ever the people of tomorrow. For this reason we have set before ourselves the task of inoculating our youth with the spirit of this community of the people at a very early age, at an age when human beings are still un-perverted and therefore unspoiled."

If you love your children, if you love your country and your freedoms, then fight against this with all your might. WE MUST NOT ALLOW OBAMA OR ANY GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION TO GAIN CONTROL OF OUR CHILDREN'S HEARTS, MINDS AND SOULS.
Legislation to create Palladium Ultra High Relief Double Eagle bullion and numismatic coins was recently introduced in the Senate. Since several readers have been commenting about it, I wanted to review the proposed legislation in a full post.

Similar legislation had also been introduced last year. One version of the bill was voted on and passed by the House, but it did not progress further and never became law.

The latest legislation was introduced on April 1, 2009 as S. 758: Original Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle Ultra-High Relief Bullion Coin Act of 2009. The bill seeks to aurthorize both numismatic and bullion palladium coins with the classic Saint Gaudens design. The current status of the bill is "Referred to Committee." In order for the bill to become law, it must be approved by the Senate and House of Representatives and signed into law by the President. You can check the bill's current status at Govtrack.us.

The numismatic coins described in the bill would be exact replicas of the original 27 millimeter version of the 1907 Double Eagle Ultra High Relief Gold Coin except for stated variations. The stated variations indicate that the coins would have a finish that closely approximates the original , bear the denomination of the coin, the date of issue expressed in Roman Numerals, and the motto "In God We Trust." These numismatic coins would be produced at the West Point Mint with a maximum mintage of 15,000.

At the option of the Secretary of the Treasury, a gold bullion coin of the same design may be minted and issued. If the gold version is issued, each numismatic palladium coin could only be issued in a set containing one of each coin. The set would be provided in a "presentation case of appropriate design" and could only be issued in 2009.

The bullion coins described in the bill would bear a likeness of the original obverse and reverse of the 1907 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle. The stated variations indicate that the coin would include raised edge lettering to indicate the weight and purity of the coin, bear the denomination of the coin, the date of issue in Roman Numerals, and the motto "In God We Trust." The bullion coins would be minted at any facility other than the West Point Mint and would be produced in "such number... as the Secretary may determine to be appropriate."

The palladium used for each version of the coin would have a purity of .995. The bill specifies the sources of the palladium bullion used in the coins as palladium mined from natural deposits of the United States within the one year period before the coins are minted.

There are several curious aspects of the legislation that make the proposed coin seem strange or problematic.

Why the 27 millimeter diameter? The legislation specifically requires the coins to have a diameter of 27 millimeters, after the original design. Did the authors of the bill consider the fact that the volume of palladium is about 60% greater than that of gold? The Ultra High Relief in gold already has a thick diameter of 4 millimeters. Would a bullion coin with a thickness over 6 millimeters just start to look funny?

Why the Ultra High Relief Double Eagle design? When similar bills were introduced last year, authorization was not yet in place to produce the UHR Double Eagle in gold, although the US Mint had indicated their intentions to produce the coin. The bill would have provided authorization for the desired UHR in gold, as well as authorize the palladium bullion coin. The UHR Gold Double Eagle was subsequently authorized directly by the Treasury Secretary and has been on sale for the past several months. This makes a portion of the current bill redundant and negates a portion of the original intention. Why not make a fresh attempt at authorizing a palladium bullion coin with a different classic design?

And finally, why a palladium bullion coin in the first place? The Royal Canadian Mint is the only world mint that has ever offered a palladium bullion coin. The Palladium Maple Leaf was offered only from 2005 to 2007 before production of the coin was stopped. In the final year, only 15,000 coins were sold. Maybe a classic design would draw interest from coin collectors, but is there enough demand from precious metals investors to justify a palladium bullion coin program? Here, I will point out that the sponsor and cosponsor of the bill are both Senators from Montana, the location of the only active palladium mine in the United States.

Numismatically, this bill seems a bit interesting, but probably more odd. Whether it has a chance of gaining sufficient political support to become law is another question. On Coin Network, there's an ongoing discussion on the Palladium Saint Gaudens Double Eagle. Feel free to join in with your opinions.
Is that all for marijuana legalization?
At this point in time in the marijuana legalization movement, I have to wonder: what's the problem, now? What's the hold up? Everything is pretty much in place - votes, politicians, sentiment is changing. Various politicians at local, state and federal levels are money hungry for marijuana taxes (sorry to say, you won't get as much as you think). Law enforcement, at the least the ones who give a damn about human life, are calling for marijuana legalization (some even calling for legalization of all "drugs"). And, the people are speaking up. Obama has asked for our input and on every occasion we've spoken up. They're voting for medical marijuana and decriminalization all over the nation.

So, what's the hold up? Is this really "it" for the movement? No big serious discussion in Congress outside of making the same mistakes since 1913 (yes, I am counting alcohol prohibition as well)? Just a bunch of small victories here and there while this ridiculous war on innocent human beings rages on?

YES! I've realized this is IT. This is the status quo and it isn't going to change. Let's settle for what we can get - a laughing dismissal from our President and small battles won here and there.
NO! Fuck that!
It's time to kick this shit into high gear. If these idiots in the government think they will win this war, they are sadly mistaken. I want my fuckin marijuana and I'm gonna get it whether you fuckin like it or not. Let NORML and MPP and ASA and all these nonprofits do what they must. They've done so much already but even they've hit a roadblock in my opinion. It's time to do more.

I have new aim or a renewed aim in this struggle. It's time for a fuckin shit load of civil disobedience. How is this to be done?

Before I became a grower and more politically aware of marijuana, I was buying that same Mexican ditchweed. At the time, it was good enough to do what it was supposed to do. After I'd finished my first grow, got to meet other growers, and introduced to quality marijuana, I put that nickle and dime seeded shit behind me.

Part I: Fresh support for Mexican drug cartels
Buy their cheap seeded marijuana. The purpose in doing this is because these animals in our government want a fight. The DEA wants a fight. The police want a fight. SO LET THEM HAVE IT. Give the Mexican Drug Cartels all the money they need to continue killing off the animals that want to continue fighting. Let them kill each other.

Goal: If the violence isn't enough now, I would only hope it could get to levels that make people really think about the problem at hand (since they clearly aren't thinking at all) and legalize marijuana.
Part II: Keep and plant those seeds
The good thing about Mexican marijuana is that it comes with plenty of seeds. Most people just throw away those seeds. Keep them and plant them. But, it's not going to help to plant them just anywhere. Plant them in your local park. They've got to go somewhere that will be healthy and visible. You only need to push the seed into the dirt up to your fingertip, about a 1/4 of an inch deep, so it shouldn't take more than a few seconds. Cover it up, throw a little water on it to get it started.

Goal: With feral marijuana growing in every part of the nation, it will surely cause a sort of local anarchy. Each pothead should let their government know that we're here and we're not going anywhere.
Part III: Grow your own
The future of marijuana is small, indepedent and co-op grow operations - around 5 to 10 plants per person, reaching no more than 4 feet tall. With a decent sized wardrobe, you can have your own grow op, easily. In fact, I, as well as others I know, can put your own grow closet together for under $300. In 4-6 months time, you could have a few ounces of high quality marijuana to call your own. When you get really good, you can be harvesting ounces of high quality marijuana every 2 months (perpetual harvesting). If anything should happen, throw some wheels on your "growbox" and move it to another location.

Check out ICMAG for Micro Growing.

Here are some direct links to what you can do with a small closet.
Super Silver Haze | Unidentified Strain | Critical Mass
Make sure you check out the entire thread for start to finish growing.

Here's another post on that forum that will help you build and maintain your own small grow: Micro Grow Library

Goal: Big grow ops attract too much attention. But, small grow ops are harder to find. The heat signatures are smaller, the smell is minimal to nonexistent if done right, and the risk is lower to you as an individual. With no big grow ops for local police to tout as "victory" in the War on Drugs, the failure becomes more evident.
Part IV: Each one, teach one
The one problem that marijuana suffers from is this misinformation campaign that's been waged against it since Harry J. Anslinger spoke to Congress in 1936. Our government continues to lie about marijuana usage. But, it's only through honest education about marijuana have we been able to progress since 1936. There's a medical marijuana is real. There's a reason why decriminalization occurs. It's because the people are smarter today than they were yesterday. That's why the laws are changing.

Goal: One more person that knows the truth about marijuana is another vote we have on our side.
Part V: Donate
Donate your time and your money to these non profits. At the end of the day, they do help.

Goal: Every movement needs a voice!!

IS IT JUSTICE OR REVENGE?

I wonder if I am the only one who sees behind the veil as to the REAL reason Obama is now open to the possible prosecution of the Bush administration lawyers who authorized what the left calls “BRUTAL” interrogation of terrorist suspects.

Less than a week of telling the American people that it was time for the nation to move on, rather than “Laying blame for the past,” Obama caved in to the left wing pressure groups, such as Reid, Pelozi, and Soros, describing what might be done next to investigate what he called “the lose of our moral bearings.” Excuse me, but can any one please tell me when the hell the leftist nimrods were ever concerned about the “lose of our moral bearings”? I mean, isn’t the leftists who forced abortion, gay rights, and kicking God out of the public venue on the American people?

The three individuals facing the most scrutiny are former Justice Department officials Jay Bybee who is currently a judge on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, John Yoo who is now a professor at the University of California-Berkeley, and Steven Bradbury.

Going after these individuals, and all this crap about water boarding being torture, etc., has absolutely NOTHING to do with restoring America’s moral bearings, and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with being against torture of captured terrorists, the Geneva Convention or anything else. It is all about REVENGE pure and simple. It is about the liberal bone heads exacting their pound of flesh for the impeachment of the Commander-in-Sleaze, Bill Clinton and for the liberals wrongly perceived notion that G.W. Bush stole the election from Al “the sky is falling” Gore in 2000.

The liberal turds have been working night and day, since Bush’s first election in 2000, to bring Bush, Chaney or other members of the Bush administration up on charges, one way or another. Ever since the impeachment of Clinton, the leftists have been eager to make those on the right, especially Conservatives, eat dirt, and their desire and actions to go after and prosecute the losing political party on any kind of trumped up charges, makes the United States look like a third rate Banana Republic dictatorship.

I issue this warning to you leftist morons; you are treading on very dangerous grounds. Be careful of what you ask for, because if you go ahead with your misguided lust for revenge, it could very well backfire on you and you just may find yourselves standing before a firing squad or dancing at the end of a rope, because what goes around, comes around in spades.

Now for the following video lifted from “Chicago Ray”.
