Taft, California: On 11/5/10, at about 7:25 p.m. (PST), a large orange fireball came up from behind the mountains in the west, traveling at a slow speed. Started off as an upside-down teardrop shaped fireball traveling upward then southbound. Got smaller and dimmer, suddenly appeared large again (but not to original size), then suddenly disappeared.
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.
