Date: October 16, 2010
Time: Approx: 10:30 p.m.

North of Lebanon, OH moving southwest to northeast; fairly low altitude (10k?) no noise. Obviously not air traffic (no red or blue port/starboard markings, no flashing red beacon). Moving in a relatively straight line in groups of two or three separated by a couple moments per group, ending around 2230 EST 10-16-10 (tonight).

A total of maybe 25 objects spanning 3 hours witnessed by a group of 15 people at a backyard bonfire. I captured several on video, but they are fairly non descript as it is dark and had no reference to the objects in the video. Just the objects at various zoom (18x max) moving across the dark.

Glowing orange, slow moving, steady pace and direction. Generally one in the lead followed by two. The two had a course that varied in distance from one another as they trailed the first. Not intensely bright as they faded long before they reached the horizon as they moved away. There pace was too quick and direction too steady to be candles/balloons launched as party favors, etc.

Please let me know if you have any ideas. I am 42, worked on FA 18's for 4 years and I am clueless as to what these may have been.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.
