Once again, Barack Obama is restating his claim that he is a Christian. During the National Day of Prayer Breakfast, he stated that when he was involved in 'community organizing' in Chicago, "While working with pastors and laypeople, trying to heal the wounds of hurting neighborhoods", he said; "I came to know Jesus Christ for myself and embrace him as my Lord and Savior." He said that was when he began to see himself as a Christian.
Obama went on to say: "My Christian faith then has been a sustaining force for me over these last few years, all the more so when Michelle and I hear our faith questioned from time to time." He further stated; "We are reminded that ultimately what matters is not what other people say about us, but whether we're being true to our conscience and true to our God."
Once again let me state, Actions speak much louder then words. One cannot be in favor of legalization of "same-sex" marriage and be a Christian! One cannot be in favor of legalized abortion and be a Christian. One cannot be in favor of an intrusive government into every aspect of the lives of the people and be a Christian.
In everything Obama has said and done since becoming president, he has shown a very big preference towards Muslims while disrespecting Christianity, and don't for get his own words in one of his books, when he stated: "If the political winds take a nasty turn, I will side with the Palestinians." Now Obama seems to be playing footsie with the Muslim Brotherhood and is holding secret talks with them about giving them a big say in a new Egyptian government after Mubarack leaves office.
At the prayer breakfast, Obama 'admitted' that when he kneels to pray for help, it is not always on the weightiest affairs of state. Well, any clear thinking, God-fearing Christian must then ask the question: "To just what God is Obama praying to?"
