Now for my planned blog posting:
WHY BLAME ISRAEL AND THE U.S.?
Why is it that so many people insist on condemning Israel and the U.S. because the Palestinian cannot get food, water, medicine and other basics of life, yet the Palestinians seem to have no problem stocking up on guns, rockets, missiles and ammo?
It was not Israel who started each of the wars since 1948. If the Palestinian people had agreed to recognize the State of Israel and Israel's right to exist, and if the Palestinians had agreed to a two State co-existence with Israel, and most importantly, if the Arab States had aided the Palestinians with much more then guns, rockets and bombs, the Palestinians would most likely be living as well as the Israelis.
The truth is that when Israel pulled out of Gaza three years ago, and turned it over to Palestinian control, they left behind a pretty good infrastructure of agriculture and other things which could have been put to good use, but instead, the Palestinians wasted no time in destroying everything and setting up their rocket launchers and digging their way into Israel for the purpose of sneaking suicide bombers into Israel to blow themselves up and taking as many innocent Israelis with them.
It is not the fault of Israel or the U.S. that the Palestinians are hungry and without medicine, nor is it the fault of Israel and the U.S. that the Palestinians are killing themselves and each other. If the Palestinians are so eager to place blame elsewhere, then let them look no further then to their fellow Arabs, especially Syria and Iran, and to their so-called religious leaders. It is they who have used the Palestinians as fodder for their proverbial canons; they have used the Palestinians as their puppets to keep the flames of hatred fanned (and they continue to use them).
Israel has bent over backwards, many times to live in peace with the Palestinian people, but to what end? As soon as Israel has signed a cease-fire or peace agreement, and as soon as they pull their troops out of Palestinian territory, what do the "poor set upon" Palestinians do, they quickly stock up on more and more bombs, guns, missiles and rockets, eagerly supplied by their puppet masters instead of food and medical supplies, and other much needed items. Then they have the nerve to succor at the teat of the rest of the world through the U.N. to receive meager supplies of food, medicine and clothing. Then, how to they show their gratitude to the world for it's humanitarian largess? They allow their children to be indoctrinated and brainwashed by their Mullahs and other religious leaders into the ideals of hate. they allow their children to be taught that it is glorious to commit suicide by blowing themselves up in a crowed area, such as a shopping mall or on a bus to take as many innocent people with them. Why do they allow their children to be corrupted by those who wish to see them die for what they call martyrdom, the same people who would NEVER martyr themselves, especially since the Palestinian people are providing them with a fresh supply of sacrificial lambs?
To the Palestinian people, I say do what is right, for yourselves and for the lives of your children, band together and throw off the yoke of your hate filled Hamas and Hezbollah leaders. Then sit down with your Israeli neighbors and work out a good faith peace treaty. I can guarantee that if you do, you will find that Israel and the United States will be more than eager to help build up Gaza and the West Bank and teach you how to farm and create industries, and to educate your children so that they can have a bright future as teachers, doctors, lawyers, business leaders, etc., instead of preparing them to kill themselves and others. It is for the sake of your children and your grandchildren that you MUST bury the hate. After all, no loving God would ever want you to sacrifice yourselves or your children by blowing yourselves up. Wouldn't you rather attend your child's high school or college graduation and/or their wedding instead of their funeral?
