WHY PICK THE NETHERLANDS AS A MODEL OF NATIONAL HEALTH CARE THAT AMERICA SHOULD EMULATE?

Obama's drive to remake the entire American health care system, known as "Obamacare", has been seriously hampered by fears of "death panels" and very real worries that granny and gramps will be denied life-saving care by rationing boards or pushed by end-of-life counselors into "taking the pain pill" (Obama's own words) rather then accepting life-extending treatment.



With Obama struggling to convince Americans that his "Obamacare" will not set loose a culture of death, doesn't it seem rather odd that at a town meeting in Grand Junction, Colorado, Obama would praise the health care system in the Netherlands as a good example for America to copy?
