THIS HUMBLE CORRESPONDENT IS LOOKING OUT FOR THE FOLKS?

I don't know how many of you watched the O'Reilly Factor last night, but if you have, how many heard Mr. "I'm looking out for the folks", Mr. "I'm just your humble correspondent", make a really ridiculous and asinine statement to Megyn Kelly, during a segment dealing with the U.S. Army's Lt. Col. Terry Lakin who is facing Court Martial for refusing to follow any more orders for deployment until Obama produces a valid vault form birth certificate and releases all of his other records, i.e., school records and passport information to prove that he (Obama) meets constitutional eligibility requirement of being a "natural born" citizen.

It is a known fact that Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity have little to no regard for so-called "birthers", even though the question of constitutional eligibility is a very serious and extremely important issue.

When the Lt. Col. Terry Lakin segment came up, O'Reilly said the following to Megyn Kelley (a lawyer and former judge); "I proved that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. Do you know how I proved he was born in Hawaii? I sent my investigators to Hawaii and they checked the birth notices in the newspapers at the time of Obama's birth and his birth was listed. Now the papers would not list a birth unless the parents called it in to announce that the birth took place."

Ok, I may have been born at night, but NOT last night, so can some one, anyone explain to me how a birth announcement in a Hawaiian newspaper PROVES that Obama was born in Hawaii? Any woman who has a baby in another state or country can move to Hawaii, immediately following the birth of their child, and call the local newspaper and announce the birth of their baby, that proves NOTHING as to the place of birth of the child.

I have said it before and I will say it again, the question of Obama's constitutional eligibility to hold the office of President is an extremely important issue, because it goes to the very heart of the Constitution of the United States. Either we are a nation of Laws and not of Men or we are not. Either we have a valid Constitution or we don't. We the People have a RIGHT to know if the person we have leading us is constitutionally eligible to hold that office. Our Nation, our Rights and Freedoms depend upon it. Despite what some may think (on both the right and the left) say, this is NOT a trivial issue not worthy of our time.

Once again, if Obama has nothing to hide, then why is he spending millions of dollars to keep all of his records hidden from public scrutiny?
