The left often comes up with half-baked ideas which they try to pass off on conservatives as being something other then what it really is. Take Nancy Pelosi's idea of using a portion of the "STIMULUS PACKAGE" to distribute condoms as a way of stimulating the economy. Nice try there Ms. Botoxie.
So what is the real truth behind her asinine proposal? Perhaps the following tells the real truth.
Two Children Should Be The Limit:
Couples producing more than two children are being irresponsible by placing an undue burden on the environment and on the economy.
Jonathon Porritt, chairmen of the government's (Great Britain) Sustainable Development Commission, says "curbing population growth through contraception and abortion must be at the heart of policies to fight global warming." Porritt says that political leaders and green campaigners (perhaps Al Gore and others) should stop evading the issue of environmental harm caused by an expanding population.
"I am unapologetic about asking people to connect up their own responsibility for their total environmental footprint and how they decide to procreate and how many children they think are appropriate," Porritt stated. Excuse me, but what goes on in our bedrooms and how many children we choose to have is none of your damn business. As long as a couple can afford to care for their children without asking for governmental handouts, Then the gtovernment has no business sticking their nose in.
Perhaps if the public schools STOP with all of this "sex-education" that they are craming down the throats of our children, maybe that would cut down on the number of teen pregnancies. We are not China, nor do we wish to become like China. Go get your jollies in some other way and stop sticking your nose into our bedrooms.
